The Mother’s Day brunch at Gaylord is by far the best buffet brunch in all of Texas. Champagne, mimosas, breakfast foods, seafood, salads and pastas of all kinds, a meats carving station and incredible entrees, a kids brunch buffet for little kiddos, cheeses and desserts the whole family can enjoy.
Spring cleaning is a tradition around our house every year as early signs of spring approach. Deep housecleaning isn’t one of our favorite things to do, but once the deep cleaning throughout the whole house is done, we’re able to relax and enjoy the birds chirping and blooming flowers that comes with spring and summer in a clean, freshened up home.

As a sewing beginner, it makes sense to learn how to sew different things from easy sewing patterns, whether the patterns are free pattern downloads found online or quick and easy patterns made and bought from Simplicity and others. I’ve been making a long list of easy sewing and craft projects I want to make myself with my sewing machine, but I’m also planning on taking advantage of as many no-sew crafts and kits as possible too, for home use or to give as gifts for various occasions that come up.
Many were disappointed to find their local area Walmart fabric department no longer carries any types of fabric anymore, and even a search on the website at Walmart, fabric by the yard is nowhere to be found. Even though I’m admittedly a sewing beginner for all intense purposes, finding the best prices on all fabric types for sewing and craft projects is a top priority, regardless of the current status of our economy.
